VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN UNDER THE MASK OF A SMILE:
THE AWARDED COMIC BY AMINA GANIĆ
''Amina has shown extraordinary talent and creativity in fine arts at the very beginning of her secondary-school education. Modesty, amiability, empathy, thoughtfulness and high level of responsibility are only some of the qualities that make her personality very positive and open for new experiences and revelations'', said Anita Smiljanić, Amina's mentor and professor of fine arts.
In this awarded comic we see domestic violence because of which ''the boy is scared, unhappy, and insecure and does not want to talk about it and decides to wear a smiling mask every day in order to hide his scars, sorrow and pain.'' According to the jury ''the comic provokes intense emotions because it speaks language of universal symbols and every one of us can recognise ourselves in it.''
Therefore let us awake, move and change our dead silence into a clear roar and protest against any form of violence. Amina already did it.
